Holter Monitoring is a non-invasive test that continuously records the heart's electrical activity during daily life, usually for 24 hours or longer.

It is particularly useful for detecting intermittent heart rhythm abnormalities that may not appear during a standard ECG.

Holter monitoring can help evaluate symptoms such as palpitations, dizziness, fainting, chest discomfort and unexplained episodes of rapid or irregular heartbeat.

The patient wears a small portable ECG recorder connected to electrodes placed on the chest while continuing normal daily activities.
