Exercise Stress Test | Treadmill Test in Jordan
An Exercise Stress Test, also known as a Treadmill Test, evaluates how the heart responds to physical activity.
During the test, the patient walks on a treadmill while the heart rate, blood pressure and electrocardiogram (ECG) are continuously monitored.
The test can help assess symptoms such as chest pain, shortness of breath, palpitations or reduced exercise tolerance, and may help detect evidence of reduced blood flow to the heart during exertion.
Exercise stress testing can also provide information about exercise capacity and the heart's response to increasing levels of physical activity.
Dr. Ghassan Shawabkeh evaluates the patient's clinical history and test findings to determine whether further cardiac investigations or treatment are appropriate.
